Dressing Up (and Stripping Down)

It's awesome to have kids. Sometimes we go to check on them when they are supposed to be asleep and find them with the light on doing some late night reading. Oh, don't worry, she's not totally naked. She has that necklace on. And her binkie. What is she reading, you ask? The Book of Mormon, naturally. She's found some stickers in there and she wants them, so she's tearing pages out of it.
And sometimes we actually go out in public looking like super hunting man. Or super army man. One cape is not enough, folks.
And on the best days we walk over to Bale's and buy doughnuts and chocolate milk for lunch. And we sit outside where it is unseasonably sunny and think it's ok to wear shorts and no coat when it's 35 degrees out.
Sometimes after a long nap she wants to dress up in tights and a swimming suit for no apparent reason. She has no idea what ballerinas wear. Is this just in a little girl's genes? Or would Tommy do this, too, if given the chance?
And speaking of DNA, he knows right what to do with a cardboard box. It's his space ship, of course. He worked hard to write "Tommy" on the side so we would know who it belongs to. That's good, because I wouldn't want him getting into the wrong box space ship taking off for some other galaxy than the one he was planning to visit. That would be bad.
