Giant Baby Smash!

The official word on the street is that Tommy is now 8 weeks old and huge. At the appointment with the doctor this morning he weighed in at 16 pounds 4 ounces and measured 25 inches long, putting him way off the charts for his age. He's definitely one of a kind! He is learning lots of things lately, like how to smile and how to use his vocal cords. He can see things a lot further away now than he used to, so he's always looking around and studying the world around him. He gets so distracted by his surroundings while he is eating that we have started putting a blanket over his head so that he can focus and eat well for a few minutes. Tommy is very bright and very curious. He can reach for toys now, as you can see in the video below. It is so fun to watch him learn and grow. Sometimes we have little conversations with him. He's a great baby and we love him so much.
